National TKD Championship 2012

Raiders' Young Warriors in Action!!!

Today is the 1st day of the National Taekwondo Championship 2012, Our Raiders' young warriors will be in action for Today and Tomorrow (22nd and 23rd sept). Do come and give your support and cheer, and have a feel the competition atmosphere and see with your own eyes what is tournament sparring is.

If you want to see more heart-pumping and lighting fast kick, then don't miss the sparring matches for teenagers and adults, it will be on 29th & 30th sept.

The competition venue is at Yishun Sports Hall - FREE Admission.

Saturday (22nd and 29th Sept)  from 2pm to 8pm

Sunday (23rd and 30th Sept) from 9am to 8pm.

If you are at Yisun Sports Hall, look out for our Raiders' Banner and we'll be wearing the Raiders' orange Club-Tee. Do come with your Orange Club-Tee if you have.

Interested to get yourself a Raiders Orange Club-Tee ($20/pcs), Please contact Mdm fast as we only left limited stocks and sizes.

No Classes on these Dates (Sat & Sun)

A Gentle Reminder to Saturday (Jelutung CC) and Sunday (Rivervale CC) classes.

Please take note that the class will be cancelled on these dates due to competition activities over these two weekends:

Jelutung CC: NO class on 22nd Sept (Sat), will resume on 29th Sept.

Rivervale CC: NO Class for next two Sunday on 23rd Sept and 30th Sept. Class will resume on 7th Oct.

For trainees going for Grading, Please do self revise your poomsae to perfect your execution and getting ready for the Oct Grading.

**Gentle reminder:-

Please remember to sign in your name and club name under Raiders TKD. All referees and volunteers are reminded not to be late. If you are caught reporting late, our club will be penalized and might be called in for disciplinary actions. You are strongly reminded to adhere to the rules and regulations set by STF. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind all our Raiders officials; that you are representing Raiders TKD and all officials must at all times conduct and behave themselves in a manner befitting of a Taekwondo exponent and will take reasonable care to ensure that the good name of the federation and our club will not be tarnished by rowdy or bad behavior.

We also strongly encourage all our participants to stay back for the day’s event and cheer for our members who are still out there doing their best for the game. They need your cheers and support to clinch their GOLD medals.

Grading Date - 21st October 2012 @ TPY

To All Raiders and Parents, please take note that the next Gading date is on 21st Oct 2012 (Sunday) -  Venue is at TOA PAYOH SPORTS HALL.

For those Senior Brown and Black Belt going for 1st Dan Black and higher Dan level, your Grading date is on 20th Oct 2012 (Saturday).

Please do submit your Grading fee and required form to Mdm/Sir ASAP and not later than 16th Sept 2012 for internal administrative work. Trainee who submit after 16th Sept will be consider as late submission with additional $15 fee.

Next upcoming Grading Preparation Workshop is in September 2012

The next upcoming Grading Preparation Workshop is on 16th September 2012 Sunday [2pm -- 5:30pm].

For those who are going for your Poom or Dan grading (with Mdm's approval) for coming Oct 2012 Grading, you are highly encourage to attend this workshop.

Interested Trainees please complete your registration form and submit with payment to Mdm by 9th Sept 2012.

Friendly Match at Rivervale CC class on 2nd Sept

Gentle reminder: There will be friendly match this sunday, 2nd Sept at Rivervale CC, from 7.30pm to 9pm. We hope to see all our trainees taking part in the upcoming national tournaments to be present for the friendly match as well. It will be a warm up match prior to the Championships. Trainees who are not involved in the tournament and would like to go for the friendly match, you may seek Mdm's permission.
